Wi-Fi Security

Wi-Fi is more prolific than ever and it's a trend that's set to continue. Wireless network access is convenient and highly accessible but it can also be a snoopers dream.

It might seem fine to have an insecure wireless network, but the problems and dangers are often not immediately obvious.

Insecure wireless networks are wi-fi networks that either have no encryption, or weak encryption that snoopers and hackers can break such as WEP.

The possible threats from using an insecure wireless network in your home or office include the ability for snoopers to gain access to documents on your network, view the website's you are browsing, gain usernames and passwords and even watch your instant messaging conversations.

Obviously the fear of security breach shouldn't prevent you from enjoying the benefits that wireless network access can bring, but it should remind you that ensuring network security should be a high priority for everyone and it is important to implement the latest security technology, often available but not configured, on your network.

Force36 Limited have been working with wireless internet technology for years, our experience vast. If you would like your network to be secured for you, we will be happy to configure your network.
